This production was the regional premier of the play with Grote, the playwright and a filmmaker, in residence for the production. Multiple scenes, characters and times presented in a closely collaborative production with extensive original music composed by Chris Guse, and with designs by Sandra J. Strawn and Pamela J. Rehberg which successfully brought research from historic Arabic Korans to Orientalist fiction to Borges into balance with internet dating and "ground zero of 9/11/2001." The production featured a lobby exhibit developed with Special Collections at the Golda Meir Library on images from Orientalism in literature and pop culture. Included in the productions were zines created by students for the production.
