Introduction

This production featured collaboration with South African artist Morag Charlton and a deeply diverse cast featuring lead actors from the National Black Theater Conference and from New York City. Shakespeare's songs were reset into Jazz standards – deepening the connection between Shakespeare and a contemporary audience. This play was the winner Best Ensemble Award – The Independent 2008/09
